About Us

In the relatively short ten years she has been at Van Eaton & Romero, Ginger Doucet has become something of a phenomenon. When Ginger began selling real estate, she hit the ground running, even taking her daughter, Marguerite, along for the ride.  You see, Ginger & Marguerite have sort of their own built-in sales force.

To say that these vivacious women know a lot of people is an understatement. Aside from their huge family network, the two women have never met a stranger. Ginger comes in contact with many people through her previous children’s dress store, Ginger Tree Designs, her alma mater, the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Junior League, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, the church where she and her family attend, as well as, the schools her children go to -- not to mention the never-ending circle of sports families she encountered throughout the countless seasons.

Marguerite’s realm also extends from Ginger’s network to the same alma mater, now called University of Louisiana at Lafayette , Edie’s Restaurant, Lafayette Economic Development Authority, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, and the years of just growing up here in Lafayette .
