The home-buying process doesn’t need to be scary. You have already taken the first important step, which is to find a Realtor® who will be on your side. We will help you every step of the way, from helping you find that perfect home, explaining every part of the negotiating process, updating you on every stage of the home-buying, to showing up at your closing. Our Passion is you and we see to it that you have nothing to fear. Here are a few steps to the home-buying process that you should take to make it as seamless as possible. 1. Know what you are looking for. Þ Exactly what kind of house is your dream home. Þ Determine what is the biggest priority for you and your family in your home. (Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Square Footage, Neighborhood, Yard, Kitchen, Floor Plan, Schools, Other Amenities) Þ You can start searching for homes on the MLS to get an idea of what is out there. Click Here 2. Find out how much you can afford. Þ Talk to a several lenders to find the best deal. Click here for a list of lenders. Þ Once you decide on your preferred lender, ask them for a preapproval letter. 3. Shop for a home. Þ Let us know what you are looking for and we will set you up on an automatic email search for a home. Þ We then go house hunting! 4. Make an offer. Þ We will sit down together to sign a purchase agreement, which we will explain in detail. Þ Once an offer is accepted, the sale is still contingent upon your financing, inspections, title, appraisal, and insurance. 5. Get a home inspection.
